Terms of service

Last updated 18 September 2026

Plain terms for a tool that collects headlines. If something here is unclear, ask before you rely on it.

What iSites does

iSites builds news and directory sites that keep themselves current. You choose the subject and the sources; we fetch each source on a schedule, store the headline, a link, a short excerpt and the publisher’s own preview image, and publish them on your site. We never store or republish a full article.

Your account

  • One person or organisation per account. Confirm your email address before you create a site.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your team members do.
  • Automated signups, bulk account creation and evading our rate limits are grounds for closure.

Your site is your responsibility

You decide which publishers a site follows and which rules filter them. That makes you the publisher of the result. You agree not to use iSites to:

  • Aggregate a source that has told you, or us, to stop.
  • Present someone else’s work as your own, or strip the attribution and link we attach to every item.
  • Build a site whose purpose is to deceive readers about who is behind it.
  • Break the law, or anyone’s rights, in the jurisdiction the site serves.

If a publisher asks us to stop, we stop — across every site on the platform, not just the one that prompted it. See the publisher opt-out page.

Plans, payment and what happens when you stop paying

  • Plans are monthly and renew until cancelled. Cancel any time in the billing portal; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Moving to a smaller plan suspends the sites it does not cover, oldest kept first. Nothing is deleted, and upgrading restores them.
  • AI credits are spent as items are enriched. Bought credits do not expire. Credits are not refundable in cash.
  • Prices can change with 30 days’ notice. A price you are already subscribed to does not change under you.

What we do not promise

The service is provided as it is. Sources go down, feeds change shape, and an AI summary can be wrong — check anything before you act on it. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the problem.

Ending it

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used for abuse, or that we are legally required to stop serving. Where we reasonably can, we tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first.

Changes

We will post changes here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
