DMCA notice
Last updated 18 September 2026
This form reaches us directly and is recorded with the date you sent it. Use it in preference to email — a form we can point at afterwards is better for both of us than a mailbox.
Before you file
Sites built here store a headline, a link, at most 300 characters of excerpt and the preview image the publisher marked as og:image. We never store a full article. If what you want is simply not to appear, the publisher opt-out is faster and needs no legal statement: it excludes your domain from every site on the platform.
What a complete notice needs
- Your name, address and email.
- Identification of the work you say is infringed.
- The exact URL on our platform that carries it.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or may act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature — typing your full name in the box below counts.
What happens next
We act on complete notices promptly, remove or disable the material we agree is covered, tell the site owner what was removed and why, and reply to you saying what we did. Owners who attract repeated notices lose access.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notice through the same form with your contact details, the material that was removed, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was an error.
Misuse
A notice filed in bad faith carries liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. §512(f). Please be sure before you send one.
